Bersano & Bersano Interior Design was opened in 1992 for full-size residential projects. The design studio and shop resides in an old Victorian brick structure that originally housed The Pulling & Neely Confectionery in 1913. Surrounded by history, but with the stoves and bakery now gone, creativity endures with interior design for dolls and "confections" of doll beds made of wood and fabrics.

A full wall of cabinetry, inspired by a design from an 18th century millinery shop, houses patterns, fabrics, trims and samples. A select number of frames are in the shop with the majority in storage on special racks. Many of the completed ensembles are housed in a fashionable antique Victorian sideboard and a faux-painted red wardrobe. Small table baskets hold little pillows.

Drafting of drawings takes place here as does layout of materials with pinning of patterns for cutting, and then assembly and sewing. In every inch of its space, the shop is a center of movement and creativity.

As each bed is created, each is given a debut in the display windows, previewing their individual characters in old-world style.

Each bed, an investment of time and quality handwork, comes from this shop to you.

Customers may make an appointment to visit and see every bed. Any schedule may be accommodated. Please call or preferably e-mail for the most prompt response.

All beds are American in charm, quality and original design…always.
